This is an awesome shop! From Colin meeting you at the service desk to the tech's repairing your computer. This shop is not a parts changing shop like the big box stores, they can actually fix stuff. They were able to repair my motherboard not only saving me the cost of a new motherboard, but the expense of all of the computer work involved with a new motherboard. I would highly recommend Ducktoes for any of your computer needs! I will go to them first from now on!

Recently went to get my laptop repaired after having the blue screen of death that wouldn't go away and I couldn't resolve myself. Hard drive was dead but they were able to retrieve files, installed new drive & got computer as it was with my programs and files. Great customer service; lovely staff and kept me up to date on prognosis and next steps. I found them to do a good job at a fair price. Computer is back and working well. Glad I went there!

These guys diagnosed the issues, re-configured my cable management, fixed my fans, cleaned the chassis, and re-installed Windows 10. Awesome service, quick turnaround, and very fair/honest pricing. My 980ti (video card) died and they figured out the problem right away. They had to order a part (VRM) which took really only 1 day for shipping -- and then was fixed that same day. These guys will absolutely be my first pick if I ever need hardware repairs again. Fantastic service! I was attended to by both Colin and Seth, and they were both super helpful and a pleasure to deal with. The reason why I needed their services is that my cat had decided that my laptop screen would make a great chew toy, and so my 144Hz screen needed replacing. I had been doubtful that a screen like this could be fixed or replaced, but luckily a replacement was easily found and imported from China. It was fixed way sooner than expected to boot. And all at a price that was nearly half of what Gigabyte wanted to charge me to do an RMA on the unit. Great job guys.

Great service. I dropped my damaged gaming monitor off to see if it could be repaired. They did a diagnostic check and I had a phone call within an hour of dropping it off. Unfortunately the panel is beyond repair and this particular panel is hard to come by but they did not charge me for the diagnostics. Will be using them again in the future fore sure!

I was able to purchase the monitors I was looking for at a different store, but regardless I appreciate your response and consideration. I wish you and your business the absolute best in the future! :) Had a slightly disappointing experience today with the business. I found them through the Exmerce exchange, and was stoked to find a computer orientated business via the platform. On the website there is different products and services advertised, one of which is a selection of different monitors. I drove to the location from the SE (which ended up being around a 35 minute commute), only to find out the business neither has any monitors available, nor would they even sell them via the barter exchange. Admittedly, I take partial responsibility for wasting my own time by not calling the business to question the actual availabilities of the monitors or how they go about making use of the Exmerce exchange. With that said, the website has no information suggesting that the products are out of stock, and between the site and the Exmerce platform I could find no mention that they only allow use of the currency to cover labour costs. The entire experience was quite disappointing, and like I mentioned before, I take partial responsibility, however not updating a website to reflect product availability is a fairly large oversight aswell. I wish the business well, and I'm sure their actual repair work is fantastic based on the other reviews. With that said if you are interested in their services via Exmerce, or product selection, I wouldn't recommend it.

Outstanding place. I went there to get my HDMI port fixed and the guy named Seth was extremely helpful. He was helpful and honest with his advised. Instead of charging me more money to fix the problem with my laptop, he advised to just buy a adapter. Very genuine advise. Definitely recommend this place!

Very professional folks.Are very transparent in communication. This is second time I dealt with them and they delivered exactly what they told they would. Collin is very polite and friendly.

The power brick for my laptop gave up the ghost and Geek Squad really didn't want to fix it (they stated that they'd have to send it to the manufacturer for two to three weeks and MAYBE it could be fixed and that a new battery would cost $250). Geek Squad then suggested I just buy a new computer from them while not caring that I had a ton of files on my current laptop. Horrible, apathetic service. Ducktoes has great customer service (Seth and Colin) and they assured me they could fix my laptop as quickly as possible. They fixed it in less than a week (keep in mind I gave them my laptop three days before Christmas) and found a replacement power brick at less than the originally quoted price. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ducktoes to anyone experiencing computer issues.

Extremely pleased with the remote repair and virus removal done on my badly infected laptop. (I'd downloaded AdBlock Plus, from CNET, no less, and ended-up with a bug that hijacked my browsers. Every time I'd open a window or start one of the browsers, I'd get hijacked to various sites. As a result, I wasn't able to get to any of the sites where I could research how to get rid of the dratted thing! Rather an ingenious design, but oh-so-very frustrating.) Anyway, the Ducktoes people, who a friend recommended to me, were able to help (yeah, they're in Canada and I'm in California - they work across borders!). They were able to connect to my computer through a remote application of some sort and get into the bowels of the device, tracking down and eviscerating the virus. The whole process took a couple of hours and I get the feeling that they may have stayed late on my behalf (based on their posted operating hours), but they didn't say a word. Could not be more pleased with the service - and with the kindness of the staff. Nice not to deal with people who made me feel like an idiot!
