ABSOL?UTELY OUTRAGED! I have been with Hostrocket for over a decade. A folder has “disappeared” from our FTP site. They claim it was nor removed by them, perhaps not, but (intentionally) it was not removed by me either! I have over a decade of data there. Initially, I was not concerned - as being an IT person.- I had assumed they make incremental backups! WRONG! So if there is a disk failure, they rely ON YOU!!! To have a copy of the information. My two-year contract is up next year, so I am DEFINITELY out of there, as I said after being there for over a DECADE!. This is a MAJOR issue, do not look at only the price. Had I know that there is no backup. I would have NEVER signed up! BE CAREFUL, AVOIDE THEM.

They have no respect for their customers. The staff is rude and their goal isn't to assist their customers. The tech was super argumentative, talked over me, and hanged the phone up on me abruptly. I don't understand how they are running a business like this. I am appalled and my site has been shut down and I'm basically losing business due to their incompetence.

Horrible! Dangerous if you are running a small business. Beware! Avoid at all costs. There are plenty of other hosts that charge less and deliver more. Their servers are much slower that other companies, but that's not all. They have a "service" that scans mail and blocks whatever they feel is spam even if it is legitimate. Simple things like Zoom links are treated as spam and not delivered. Then they shut down all your mail. Nice! Not very! And when you explain and demonstrate that the email is legit, they could care less. Totally uninterested in trying to resolve the problem or help their customers. And insulting about it. Good riddance HostRocket! If I could make this a 0 stars I would, but Google insists on at least 1. It deserves a 0!

They have been my ISP for many many years, since 1999.. I was one of the first customers. My site is over 8,000 static pages and 7,200 WordPress dynamic pages. They have always been responsive and kept the site up. I do wish I could talk to the support desk instead of email but as long as they answer quickly, I guess it is OK. I recently moved from Shared Server to a Dedicated Server since I want to make sure the almost 200 GB of images are backed up and available to the family. The transition went without any major upsets. They do a great job!

I had some major challenges and had to escalate for weeks with little success. The customer service has degraded over the years. I was even told that Management will not call back to hear the feedback or work to resolve issues even for customers that have been with them for ~15 years. Support basically told me it is what it is, and they are not changing. They are continuing to provide service but the business is seemingly stagnant and not growing. It feels like a business that is being run on people's spare time. I'm not sure what is going on here or how long a business run like this can last.
