Went to the conference in my state as I was intrigued on what we could do to improve our law practice. It was eye-opening and incredibly helpful in helping us restructure some roles within the firm as well as change our intake and marketing processes. Is there a sales portion to the conference? Yes, but they are not pushy about it and they are happy to help you even if you don't purchase their solutions. (Though I was tempted, if we weren't under contract at the moment). One of the best investments we have made into our practice and definitely worth the time to sit down and reassess how you are running your office. Quadrupled our firm performance!!!!! That's not an exaggeration. We can actually quantify that, not ironically, using Rainmaker software. Let me explain. Our firm started using Rainmaker in early 2016. At the time, we were in a transition after having lost a partner and were re-evaluating how we operated our business. Our managing partner attended a Rainmaker seminar and then we purchased a consulting package along with some software to track our leads. Going through the consultation process, which consisted of us reviewing our business practice and intake practice with Cindy over about 8 weeks, was invaluable. She basically used the socratic method to get us talking about our business so that we could see the inefficiencies and how to improve them. We ultimately declined several lead sources that, once we could quantify, we realized were not as profitable as other lead sources. Eventually, we were able to hone in on a niche, and optimize our firm around that niche. Even though that led us away from the firm model that Rainmaker suggested, Cindy stayed involved with us, and helped us tweak the software, and the Rainmaker strategy to meet our unique needs.
