I purchased a large order of card sleeves to protect them for play in cubes. I have inner sleeves I bought on sale from another source, but when ordering bulk, checkoutstore had the best deals. I had requested samples and we sent 3 of each type requested, this gave me the opportunity to make my decision to buy and the quality was wonderful so I purchased upwards of 5000 sleeves among their color options. This review is in two parts. First the How and Why I came to order from here. Second my experience. I came to know this place indirectly. I needed to consolidate and get better storage for what I had. I love films. I collect those I love. I am also sick of upgrading collections from one medium to another. I stopped at DVD. I hate the dependence on streaming. The absurd prices of multiple subscriptions. The speed or existence of a connection. It was the inadequacy of the cases I had. Or was given. That led me here. That which I collect should not just be stored, but showcased. Old Blockbuster cases had granular outer envelopes and that hole in the bottom. This ridiculous move towards flimsy ECO AMARAY - not just the spoked case which permits holes in the display cover art since they had no rigidity nor sufficient structure - their Gumby relatives that become irrevocably mishapen in flimsy ECO Amazon envelopes - even if brand new. Then the clear more flimsy ECOBOX which split and break with USPS or UPS Smart Post. Neither those dealers nor retailers care about what they market. Only $$$. It was those pitfalls and inadequacies that led me here. My experience is limited to DVD cases. Single and dual cases manufactured by Mediaxpo and those sold and shipped by the Checkout store. Cases literally superclear. Polyethylene. Recyclable #5. With that smooth nonbrittle outer acetate envelope that easily holds and yes beautifies any cover art. Showcases each one. Yes it makes small flaws more easily seen. But gives the art a sheen. The cases for the most part close easily. Occasionally they do need "lining" up but not often. They are less rigid than the old style but less apt to tear than ECO AMARAY. The availability of CheckoutStore products makes it easy to order. Not just Amazon who takes a day longer than Walmart. They have their own app as well. As a venue for multiple wholesalers they have great prices. Almost less than "wholesale" for smaller quantities. Large bulk orders save even more. My latest shipment came in a U-line 32 ECT (Edge Crush Test) pristine box. No damage. No blunted edges. FRAGILE marked all around on clear tape. Perfect for what was shipped. The DVD cases are securely wrapped. Layers of bubble wrap surround the bulk case grouping - further secured by tape and a sheet of translucent plastic. The boxes single layer construction well secured by tape that adheres well. I've ordered more than 6 times from them via other venues. Only once was one case cracked and broken - less than .004% of total items. Acceptable odds. Stuff can happen. These cases do NOT break easily. The one case that was broken on arrival? I have no idea how that happened. They are flexible, supple not brittle or easy to snap. Customer service responded quickly, offered a credit towards the next order or my account. Bear in mind contact with customer service is by email. No direct voice contact. The menu provides the disclaimer that damage may occur in shipping transit even if the box appears untouched. Keep in mind likelihood of damage seemed to increase with smaller quantities. Larger quantities shipped faster gave cared better. Especially through Walmart via FedEx. I have not yet ordered directly from the website or app itself, nor from the Brooklyn location directly. They offer a wide selection of storage media cases and a great deal more. A wide selection of whole vendors. Great prices. Quick shipping. Responsive though indirect customer service. Their own app - icing on the cake. Great place. Glad I found it. I will continue to order from them.
