Looking back, I realize that BC is one of the best Community Colleges in CA. Yes, it's imperfect. But there is opportunity here for those who aren't quite sure what path they want to follow. I was the first in my family to ever attend college. I wasn't ready, but BC allowed me to learn how to study, to prepare for the rigors of four-year college. Most of the classes I took here transferred to the Univ. of CA, where I finished my B.S. in 5.5 years total. After that, I earned my doctorate from the Univ. of Arizona and did cancer research. My point is: it's okay to "start small", because it's where your journey takes you that really matters. |
Good college. Good surroundings near bakersfield college for an example, students can drive to east malls hills for shopping and/or restaurants. Also good professional are who bakersfiled college choose. Best service for deaf students. |
My classes start in Fall. But, this is the only College within 50 mi from where I live that offers the course I need (CNC/machining). |
