I have to say that numerous items both led me to give a 5-star review and to do so immediately. 1. This is first and foremost, I had a specific question about the storage expandability options for the specific PC I was looking at, and the support chat on the website was not only a reply within a few minutes, but a reply by AN ACTUAL PERSON and not an AI chatbot going in cycles and cycles. He got an answer for me right away and it made the decision for me and my purchase, because I also had a separate page open with Thermaltake and they had left my same question sit for over 25 minutes, by that time I was checking out other options and selected Digital Storm. Huge props to not only a quick support system, but real people who had real answers for me right away. 2. Options for on board components. Specific highlight to the Gen5.0 NVme SSD options, because not only do other sites either not mention whether their SSDs included are Gen4 or Gen5, but those that do list them still include Gen4 with even $5,000+ PCs, which is very odd and will be a limit in the future with the way components are progressing. Not only was I able to change the on-board storage to Gen5.0 but it is name-brand storage and not generic/rebranded cheap parts. 3. Ease of customization. Really having the options with compatible parts and options easily selectable and visible was perfect. Some of the selections were a little limited like for RGB but there are still plenty of options and some that fit perfectly within what I was looking for. All-in-all, I was very happy to put my order in and I cannot wait for it to arrive! This is my first series foray into a significant PC build since 2018 and everything has helped this to be a great experience so far. |

I’m on my second DS build and not only is the workmanship top notch, so is the customer support. I had a new build come with a motherboard issues. Digital storm got it fixed and RMA’d the motherboard for me super fast. Philip, Cole and the rest of the team was super professional. Since it was in the shop I went ahead and upgraded the cooling system and I couldn’t be more happier. Thanks much. |

Leaks leaks leaks leaks and leaks. Leaked on day 1. They ignored my emails. QR code on the package was illegible and my power button was haning out. I got someone on the phone and they sent out parts, I got it fixed after a painful conversation where neither of us understood eachother. Then I discover a 2nd leak a few months later, which was probably always there but I didn't notice because it was a slow leak. I found the leak, and waiting for their response to help. Then my water pump just stopped working, so now I can't even power on my computer because the cpu overheats right away, even before it can boot the bios. Great. I'm a remote editor and I'm loosing money every day. I don't get paid unless I work. This has caused me so much money, credibility and damage to my reputation that far exceeds the $5K garbage system I purchased. As a remote editor my computer is my livelyhood, and I made the mistake of trusting Digital Storm with something so important. This will be very difficult to recover from. |

I have had great service and felt well taken care of by Digital Storm. My experience was with an Aventum X and Bolt X custom ordered from their website. I've built my own computers many times, but wanted to have the water cooled design and assembly without stressing on my part. The experience went very smooth and granted with COVID, there were some delays, but nothing unexpected for the time. Both systems arrived and worked extremely well. I have realized that on the Bolt X the PETG tubing may not have been the best with a smaller form factor for CPU (I did hardline on the Aventum X for both CPU and GPUs which has worked FABULOUSLY). I decided to switch out the PETG for the flex tube, as I wanted the fewest connectors to work with whenever I rotate fluid, and they had my fluid tubing switched out within days from when it arrived at Digital Storm. They have been extremely communicative throughout the process and even noticed some cosmetic damage from when I was identifying the tube issue, and they gave me a chance to get it all repaired. This is the kind of service I was hoping for and they have exceeded. I would recommend them and will definitely return in the future if I have the need. Thanks Digital Storm! |
I’ve been a Digital Storm customer since 2019. I recently passed my first unit down to a family member and purchased my second in July 2024. From the start, the experience was seamless—great communication, bulletproof packaging, and a level of care you rarely see. The 'Digital Storm Difference' showed up in the small things: when I went to add an M.2 SSD 18 months after purchase, I found the tiny, specific mounting screw waiting for me in a labeled bag in my accessory box. That level of foresight is rare. However, the real test came four weeks ago when I hit a 'black screen' crashing issue that my 25 years of tech experience couldn't solve. I reached out to support and was connected with Scott Morrow. It was, without question, the best tech support experience I’ve ever had. Scott was personable, patient, and thorough. He took the time to remote in, diagnose the 'un-diagnosable,' and stayed with me until it was resolved. He even followed up days later to ensure I was still stable. You don't get after-care like this in Corporate IT, let alone consumer retail. Cheers to Scott and the DS team for proving that elite products can come with even better service.
