Horrible service no follow through, always promise the world and never call back show up or anything, service department is a joke case, John deer, and garton tractor out perform these jokers all day long. I will never buy another piece of cat equipment from holt ever again currently own only two pieces out of my 10 piece fleet of tractors. Huge mistake. The mechanics did nothing more than cause more problems with my machine and lack to follow up on their error. Went in for a leaking front cover on mini excavator had that fixed came out with coolant leaks everywhere, missing oil cap due to “service”, and unbolted alternator and lead to broken mounting bracket. HORRIBLE PLACE TO DUE BUSINESS |

These guys are a ripoff. I've never had such a horrible experience. I rented a gradall for 4 days it was supposed to be $900, left the gradall over night they drove it around the block it started right up drove just fine and then I get a bill a week later for over $1,800 and I argue with him about it and then I finally pay it and then after they cash that check they send me another bill for another $1,300 claiming they needed to put a battery in a brand new tire on it I'll never go back there again and I will tell everybody that I know to steer clear of them. They are xharging customers fir "damage" to maintain they're run down equipment!!! |

I called them at about 9:30 a.m. Asked for the service department. They put me through I didn't get the name of the first person I talked to. I told them I have a 2000 Peterbilt that needs an inframe done. This is a 20k plus job that needs to be done. I asked for a quote and warranty information. I was told that he would check into get back to me in the next hour or so with the information. I then waited until 11:30 called again and got a hold of a Dave in service. He had no knowledge of my previous call so I again asked for a quote and warranty information. He said he would get to me within the next hour or 2. So I waited until about 2:30 before I called again. The service department didn't pick and I got a voicemail for Dave, I left a voicemail asking again about the quote and wondering if maybe there was a misunderstanding of what my email was. Come end of the day never even a response. My truck is now in a different shop that responded swiftly. Apparently you can't even get the time of day with these people on a 20k dollar plus engine rebuild. I will never be spending my money at this establishment again. They have now lost a customer for life and another shop was able to pick up a job. Thanks for nothing Holt and wasting the time of a small business owner trying to figure out how to get his truck back on the road. |
Renter Beware!! I have fraudulent charges and signatures that do not match on signed rental agreements. The Stockton Store doctored the paperwork afterwards and the store told me they had to make some changes after the fact. They tried to rectify it by sending me a portion of the charges back. I also have voicemail from the store employee who gave my employee the wrong tractor code, locking it out for four hours while I had trucks on site. Cost my company thousands of dollars. Case is headed for litigation. Anyone considering renting, feel free to reach out for documentation.
