My experience with Erica Bansmer was deeply disappointing and distressing. I retained her services in good faith, paid the required fees, and expected professional legal representation. Unfortunately, the services I paid for were never meaningfully delivered, and no refund was provided. Communication was a persistent and serious problem. Calls, emails, and messages routinely went unanswered for long periods of time. Despite this lack of responsiveness, I was charged for emails and calls that were ignored or never addressed. This left me feeling taken advantage of rather than represented. When I attempted to raise legitimate concerns, responsibility was consistently shifted away from Erica Bansmer and placed on others. In my experience, she was highly defensive and avoided accountability at all costs rather than addressing the issues directly or working toward resolution. Erica Bansmer’s gross negligence and misrepresentation significantly complicated my case. Errors that should have been avoided created additional legal and financial stress, ultimately forcing me to retain and pay a second law firm to correct her mistakes. That firm was able to identify the issues, fix them, and deliver the services with relative ease—highlighting how unnecessary the complications had become. Matters escalated further during an in-office interaction, where her behavior became verbally aggressive and intimidating. As a client already under significant stress, this conduct was unprofessional and unacceptable. What further compounded my frustration was observing that significantly more time and effort appeared to be devoted to responding politely to negative online reviews than to actually representing me as a paying client. Once payment was made, it felt as though my case became an afterthought. I also caution anyone reading positive reviews to proceed carefully. Based on my experience, I was left with the strong impression that Erica Bansmer lacked the knowledge and skills required to competently handle certain legal issues in my case. The positive reviews that influenced my decision to hire her did not align with the reality of the representation I received, and, in my opinion, may be misleading. In my opinion, this overall pattern of conduct reflects bullying rather than advocacy. Clients deserve professionalism, accountability, and respect—especially after fees have been paid. That was not my experience. Based on my firsthand experience, I cannot recommend Erica Bansmer or her firm. I strongly encourage anyone considering her services to proceed with caution and to carefully document all communications and billing

In the end it wasn’t cheap, but I honestly feel that I got the best results that I could have possibly got. I would definitely recommend her and her staff.
