Small dining area, so seating for large parties might be difficult. Good view of the airplanes and you can watch them takeoff and land. Friendly staff, and a large free parking lot.

I flew into Truckee and discovered that they had a restaurant on the field, which is always nice. I stayed over for a couple of extra days and ate here twice. Wonderful people working there, especially the person working the register. It looks like the menu changes a bit on a day-to-day basis. I enjoyed everything I had there. The chicken tikka masala bowl had lots of curry and was very good. I got the naan and hummus, and the hummus was very good, but the bread was more like a pita. The gyro on my second visit was very good! Red Truck is a really nice airport restaurant and I look forward to eating there again!

Stopped by here to get some lunch after skiing. I was really surprised by this place, as I wasn't expecting such unique and delicious food from a small airport cafe. I had the Naan Hot Dog and my Lady had the samosas and a salad. The food was flavorful and prepared quickly. They have a nice outside patio next to the landing strip, with a playground and great views of the mountains. A great place to grab lunch on the way out of town when you're done skiing.
