We were tourist walking around didn’t know this was a rental place. We walked in and a blond behind the counter was very rude to us. It was the way she spoke to us like we didn’t belong there. We didn’t know it was a rental place but even so no customer should feel like that. We had a party of 5 and we all said the same thing she was just very rude. We didn’t do any business with this company my rating is based off how we were treated and if we visited again we may give it a try but the blond that works up front needs to work on being a little more friendly to tourists. Edit- we were there April 30th around lunch time. We even asked if she knew of some near by restaurants to eat at and she said no she brings all her food. It’s definitely the way she comes off to people not friendly at all we will be back in town Soon and will give y'all a go. Thanks for a friendly reply.

It’s been quite a few years since the store closed down. I still have two Jax Beach Surf Shop shirts from there and they are my favorite shirts but they’re getting too small. Does anybody know if there’s anywhere else I might be able to find them?

I love this place. Tony is always nice to talk to. Unfortunately, I moved out of state. I recommended to the tourists to shop here all the time when I would be a parking lot attendant on the weekends. If only I could go on the website and order hats, tees, sun glasses, board shorts, etc.. But hopefully I will be back this summer to visit!

I have walked into the Jax Beach Surf Shop with a fried of mine on various occasions. He grew up in Jax Beach and I just moved here a little over a year ago, so seeing his trusting response and respect for this store made me feel at home when I walked in there yesterday afternoon. I didn't intend on buying anything special. The owner was very respectful and could tell I was excited about this new G-Shock GMix watch. I felt so connected and inspired to get this. So empowered, and any of you music "Malers" or music Lovers out there will know exactly what I mean when you see this watch at his store. He has plenty of them. I only had about 40 min to go to the bank and I felt in no way pressured at all. I am a pretty observant person when it comes to reading people and I could tell this guy would've been happy if I was happy. In less than 10 min I was using his I Pad in the back of his store, trying to figure some of the features out and didn't end up leaving until after store closing hours.
