So the first pictures and video is supposed to be a ropa vieja with Arroz con Gandules. I only know cooking Spanish so that's all I can write but basically it's pot roast with rice and beans. Well besides the rice and beans being sort of dry and no flavor as long as you didn't taste it, looked okay. Then you get to the ropa vieja, a beautiful version of pot roast but not this one I'm not sure if the tickets got messed up and somebody said I have dysphasia but it definitely had been through a blender maybe once maybe twice maybe a buffalo chopper, maybe a VCM I'm really not sure but break out the straws baby cuz you're slurping this one up! If you look I'm spreading it on my plate as butter to bread! The next picture is I only got the omelet in the morning it was either from Michael's or papetti's both about the same but when you ask for extra cheese they say they can't put it in there well didn't understand that one I said that's fine put on the side well you would think you would put it somewhere not quite warm and where you would be able to remove it maybe with deli paper in between the slices nope couldn't do that let's put it in a fry boat with nothing and put it under the heat cover with the omelet yeah you can see what was coming there! Then after the experience with the ropa vieja I thought a burger would be safe! Yeah nope couldn't even put it in the oven and turn it up high to get some kind of miallard reaction or some kind of browning caramelization It probably comes in precooked but by the beautiful gray tone in the fragrant liver flavor nothing was done with it They couldn't even get the cheese centered on the top! So I made cracked pepper Blanco hollandaise...... Black pepper in mayonnaise! Yeah it was absolutely horrible! It definitely taken a steep dive since the last time I was there! Now I know someone will say well you're on medicine blah blah blah well I think even a small child could denote the issues going on here. So anyways that was the food during the week that I was there. Funny haha part was I came out of surgery and I was thirsty as hell and hungry as hell and somebody comes in don't know if it's a nurse whatever I said could I get a big glass of ice water and in my bag right there is one of those Dubai chocolate bars that somebody had given me not the one from 7-Eleven there's a better cheaper one at Publix in the international section anyways ate that had the water a bit of Nirvana I had to say! I get to my room and they came in with the menu and said what would you like for dinner you're on a clear menu I said why I said well cuz you just got out of surgery I said well that's sort of F'd now and they said what do you mean I said well the candy bar is settling quite fine in my stomach anyways didn't change anybody's opinions still got chicken broth. It's funny one time I was teaching a class somewhere and was trying to explain the difference between commercial and non-commercial food service. I said it's pretty simple, commercial food services just that you see commercials on TV doesn't matter whether it's someplace like Ruth Chris steakhouse or Taco Bell I know that's a huge difference but you see commercials for them on TV. Non-commercial is just that You don't see commercials for them on TV You wouldn't see a 30 second buy-in for that crap that I ate (Fade In que the Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart – Requiem ) pan in on liver infused tender beef with crack black pepper won't go hollandaise; hey come on down to Advent Hospital downtown Orlando where our food is our focus, our love and we are proud to have food service professionals in the learning phase and getting the total age they need to be a famous chef one day, there are people in places in this building that are dying to get in; The ambiance in environment is just waiting for a Michelin star, not people that have been run over by Michelin tire!!!!! |

Recently, my mom was hospitalized for the week for serious Conditions I want to think the staff that took care of my mom CHELINE was an amazing dialysis nurse very caring and compassionate. JAMESLY was an amazing nurse. They gave us so much compassion and knowledge to ease her anxieties as she was being treated on the third floor. It takes a wonderful staff to bring a healing process. Thank you so much for taking care of my mom. Sandra Pena We are selling an uphill battle, but they made the process much easier showing your kind hearts and professionalism. Greatly appreciated. |

Terrific care both pre-op & post-op at the Outpatient surgery center at Innovation Tower! Everyone involved in my care, including my surgeon & Anesthesiologist were amazing… made me feel like family! Follow up phone calls from Dr. Petrie, Jeremy from Rothman and my post-op RN, Sam… all so considerate & compassionate! I have followed my discharge instructions to the “T” and today, 3 days post-op, I am moving without pain! Even at my first Physical Therapy evaluation appointment at 8:30 this morning… amazing pain free movement! YAY! |

Dr Kendrick is my GYN Oncologist. He and his team are great. My hospital stay was good. I felt that some of the nurses could have been more attentive but others were exceptional. This was my first experience staying in the hospital overnight, so I have no basis of comparison to other institutions. I would definitely recommend AdventHealth overall. We live an hour away. If we lived closer, we'd probably use them more. |

I took my daughter to this ER and had a fabulous experience. Everything was clean, doctors and nurses were exceptional, compassionate and kind to both me and my daughter. They decided to admit her and that is where the excellent care came to a screeching halt. She was admitted to the 4th floor and the room was utterly disgusting. Floors were gross, bathroom gross, the recliner for me to sleep in didn’t work, freezing cold in the room but couldn’t get the heat to work, dirty walls and paint peeling all over. But worse than the disgusting room was the disgusting care my daughter was given. She had severe pain that was promptly attended to in the ER, but not once admitted to this floor. She was in extreme 10/10 pain for over 3 hours before she was given anything to deal with this pain. The doctor couldn’t seem to be bothered when the nurse contacted him ( only after I told her I wanted the doctor to come see her)This is absolutely unacceptable! The nurses and other staff on the night shift seemed to have no compassion for her and honestly seemed more annoyed that her cries of pain were disrupting their otherwise quiet night. Once my daughters pain was FINALLY dealt with, she asked to leave and go to Orlando Health where she had previously been hospitalized for 10 days because she didn’t feel safe at this hospital. I would NEVER bring a loved one to this hospital again. I beg you to steer clear of this place. My daughter has had a chronic illness for years and this by far has been her worst experience within the health care system. They do not care about you. GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE!!! |

I have been a patient at AdventHealth for several years now and I have always been pleased with the level of care I receive. The doctors are knowledgeable and compassionate, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. |
Words can’t explain how grateful and blessed I am to have delivered here. The staff and doctors down to the care was phenomenal. They kept a close watch and made sure I was stable enough to go home before discharging me. I told them I needed a few more days and they did not hesitate to leave me a few more days. The care was top notch as well as the food. I cried when I had to leave. This was truly a blessing in disguise for my newborn and I.
