When I first signed up with socius, I was just looking for SEO. They signed me up for SEO and PPC without my knowledge. When I realized what had happened, I ran with it. The firs year was great. Second year was horrible. I had a hail storm hit 5 minutes from my house, and nobody found me online. So I decided to cancel my marketing. I asked my account manager for a final bill for the marketing, which never came. fast forward a couple months and they are running my card for 3k right before christmas. I figured that was it and we were settled. Yesterday, it happened again for $1200. Let's see if they come after me for more. I cancelled my marketing back in September. As we sit, my portal say I owe $0, but I have a bill in my email for $299 for hosting my site. Let's see what the actual situation is. The billing with this department is horrible. When I cancelled my marketing, we moved over to having them just host our site. I asked 3 times for a final invoice that I would pay when I received it. They never sent it but continue to come after for amounts owed. Their billing cycle makes absolutely no sense to me and no one has take the time to explain it to me. I'm still using them to host my site because I thought that I would be returning for a second round of marketing in the future. After this situation, I will be moving my site and cutting off all ties with this unprofessional, disorganized, unresponsive company.

Extremely disappointed with this marketing company. They did absolutely nothing for my website and nothing to improve my SEO ,despite all their promises ! Anytime I needed even a simple edit , it took weeks to get a response - if I got one at all . In November 24 , I canceled my monthly subscription ( which was in an email to a staff member staying on an opting out and choosing another marketing team ) and moved my website hosting elsewhere . They were no longer posting or providing any service ( what little they ever did ) yet they continued to charge me as if I was still an active client . Now I am receiving calls claiming I have an “outstanding bill” for services that were not being rendered ! This has been a huge waste of time and money. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for real marketing support or reliable communication !

Socius continued to charge our credit card for months after our contract ended. Multiple calls and emails to the billing department went unanswered. Several times I was told the refunds were in process but it took four months and countless emails to get the overbilling corrected. I asked more than once to speak to someone in management or the billing department, but it wasn’t until I posted a review that someone in management finally contacted me.
