I just want to say my husband and I are regulars at Cool Fish and we love the place. I surprisingly don’t eat sushi and my husband doesn’t touch anything fish and we are amazed we still can have a great meal with their other menu items. The staff are stars of the show. They take care of the customers, and they take time to remember you. They are attentive and super friendly. I take everyone here when they visit from out of town. Love you guys 💙 if you haven’t, try the Pork Buns and the wings! |

Got carryout recently. First time getting food here. Bad sign that the restaurant was 2/3 empty at 7:30 on a Saturday night. I thought maybe it was because the music is ridiculously loud. When picking up the order, the cashier and I both had to talk very loud to hear each other. She said she hates it, but the owner likes it. Dumb. But the main reason is probably that the food is expensive and bad. $80 for four rolls + 15% tip. The rolls were awful. The rice was very dry and the rolls fell apart easily. The fish all tasty "fishy" and the shrimp tasted old. We ended up tossing half of it. Save your money as there are many better options. |

The food here is not worth the price. I ordered the spicy shrimp bowl, and it was mostly rice with about 8 pieces of shrimp. The staff states that this is standard, and I stand by my review that it is not worth the price of $20. We prefer store-bought Costco Sushi over the $25 sushi we ordered. After our entire party arrived, we decided to go over to the counter to flag a waitress to take our order, after waiting about 10 minutes after the entire party had received water. We decided to ask for the check after waiting too long in the uncomfortable seats. 20% automatic gratuity is a fair policy but I did not feel the service was up to that standard. The staff requested that I modify my original 2 star review to be more accurate. The reply from the company (attached here) was rude and inconsiderate, hence the new 1 star review. |

I had an amazing experience at Cool Fish in Cornelius! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, but what really made my visit special was the incredible customer service from Elijah Allen. He was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Elijah took the time to answer questions, made great recommendations, and checked in often without ever being pushy. It’s rare to find someone who genuinely cares about their customers’ experience the way he does. |

To start with the good: none of the food was bad. The ramen was even quite good. But the loaded spring rolls were soggy because of the Kani salad on top and pretty meh. The Roll was plain. The nigiri was so cold and tasteless it seemed like it was just barely un-frozen. I may even go back to try again in cause any of this was a fluke. The service was less than great, weird interactions, checking in on food before we'd had a chance to try it, at a tiny little table that wasn't cleared until we asked for it to be, has to oddly ask for the check as well. The place overall feels like a restaurant that wants to be a bar. Tiny tables, loud with music and the staff even when we were the only guests in the place, uncomfortable seats. But worst of all its wildly overpriced. $18 for a single roll that wasn't very good, $19 for ramen, $11 for 3 spring rolls. Ended up spending $80 bucks for two people for food that wasn't worth the value. Id probably give it 3 stars if it wasn't overpriced for what you get. |

The Sashimi poke bowel was a huge disappointment. I was so excited to try this new sushi place out, but the bowl was very basic and bland. No seasoning, no noticeable sauce, very few ingredients. Like some sushi with thick raw cucumber slices, unseasoned advocado, onions, an attempt at jalapeño mango salsa, and a bunch of rice. It was hard to eat. I wish I had just stayed home. The service was mediocre, I had to go up to the bar for assistance, because the server never came to check on us. On the positive side, my daughter loved the ramen, and the ramen looked very appetizing! So maybe just don’t get poke bowls here. |

I appreciate that they allow delivery to my area. It take a while to get - but it's the most delicious sushi I got in the area. Really loved the tuna appetizer. I wish spicy tuna roll was a touch spicier. Definitely will order again. |

I like the concept of Cool Fish Design but found the prices to be a bit high for the quality of the products. The customer service was good though and the delivery was prompt. |

After a late night out, we ordered a couple shareables and the lack of flavor sobered us up fast. The pork bun was just okay, a bit dry, and the “loaded” spring rolls were misleading most of the toppings were thrown on top instead of inside. Tasted fine overall, but pretty basic. I expected more for $22 appetizers. The spot itself is cute, clean, and the staff was friendly. I’d come back to try the sushi, but I’d skip the appetizers.
