Absolutely terrible service. I’ve been without internet for four out of the last seven days, and every time I call for an update, no one can provide any clear information about when it will be restored. Customer support is extremely difficult to communicate with, and I’m constantly routed overseas with no real answers. After four days offline, this is beyond unacceptable. Worst internet provider in Anchorage. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

GCI internet as a whole is a joke. $140 a month for internet but you never know when it’s going to work. Then when you try and call them for help and you get a call center in another country. They are very hard to understand and they are not very helpful resolving any of your issues. We are having a widespread outage in my building and the earliest they can send someone is in 3 days. If you can, go with another internet company. The people at the store however, are very easy to work with and will help you as much as they can.

45min and they didn’t even transfer my service. Had to call again and they put me on hold for 30min so I used another phone to call them while waiting on the other line with their tech support. The absolute worst customer service.

2 weeks ago, late near closing. The agent took my phone as I watched like a hawk. Stunned, he started deleting applications from my phone without asking. I've never gotten set up properly since. Afraid 😨

Late night, helped immediately but told no refund for terminating our internet service early, GCI just pockets the money even though they are not providing service. Moved to Starlink. Seamless move. Loving the service.
