We were visiting from out of town. We stopped in and was very happy we did. We spoke with Ms. Katherine and she gave us some must see places, like the observation deck in the state capital building, and great local places to eat. She also shared the interesting history of Baton Rouge “red stick” with us which was cool. |

First visit to Baton Rouge and stopped at the visitor center for information. Fatima was very helpful and she advised of the trolley for a tour of the town, so at 1:00pm we waited at the designated spot where the trolley sign was located. At 1:17pm the trolley blew past us at cruising sped leaving us standing there wondering why it didn't even slow down ? . We waited until 1:45pm for another trolley which Fatima told us ran every 15 minutes. We gave up and just left downtown as the trolley service ends at 2:30pm (and only on weekdays) which is weird because most tourist's I would think are around on weekends and certainly after 2:30 pm during the week. What you sow so shall ye reap. |
Kind and helpful. Lots of pamphlets. Recommend visiting if you don’t know what else to do here
