This department is significantly lacking. If your backlog of work is so long you have customer service reps hanging up on people after 1.5 of hold time, not attempting to verify income and instead just denying people, not calling back at scheduled times (again after being on hold for hours.) HIRE MORE PEOPLE. If you can't bring people on at the current wage, RAISE THE WAGE and increase the benefits for incentive. There is a real working class that needs assistance, and the circus this department puts you through to even reach a live person over the phone is inexcusable. At this point you might as well close down the whole department, no real help, just running in constant circles. If I could give you guys less than one star, believe me- I would.

Worst public assistance service in the world. All you people have done is screw up my children’s cases when they’re special needs and no one can do their jobs properly and keep giving out misinformation because you’re so disorganized. Such a pathetic excuse for customer service or even caring about people. The entire place needs to be fired and get in some people that actually know what they’re doing. Try firing Autumn Sadd first, as she’s been called multiple times for weeks and doesn’t answer. I’m absolutely disgusted with you people and your sorry bull excuses. This is for the best experience I've had with the cosmetology licensure unit - thank you so much to the head of this department and the wonderful and kind man at the reception desk. It was my first time applying for a salon license and these 2 helped me so much and made sure I didn't have any questions. I've been in this industry since 2013 and have had multiple times of having to call and ask for help from this department, this was the best experience I've had. Thank you both so much!!

Susan Bergmeier you should be ashamed of yourself. After getting a call and a text to call you back I did. You would not listen and were frankly rude and had a combative demenour. You did not care to listen and were quick to dismiss. It gets worse when you argue when it's brought to you that there is fraud in your community and people receive SSI. Keep information from SSI claiming they are not married you clearly stated many times that the people I'm concerned about have even to you have titled husband to this person. This is common - law marriage. I think it's funny that people in your community get to sell EBT for cash lie on paper and receive full benefits. Obviously another example of waste and abuse.
