This airport is funny, because as soon as u arrive, you will see slot machines everywhere in the lobby, then u will see that you really arrived in Vegas. LMAO! Don´t you drink before going to the airport or u will miss ur flight! LMAO

Fantastic customer-oriented folks working at the North Las Vegas air terminal. Great facilities, great service, and very General Aviation oriented. Numerous maintenance shops, nearby hotels and food. Why land anywhere else?

Very nice airport just under construction, clean restrooms but didn't have soap to wash hands.

North Las Vegas Airport (KVGT) is located in North Las Vegas, Nevada (About 7 miles north of downtown Las Vegas). The airport is class D airspace within KLAS class B airspace. They have 3 landing strips: 1. 12R/12L 2. 30L/30R 3. 07/25 (intersecting runway) At the main terminal, they have an excellent restaurant called "Sunshine And Tailwinds Cafe" They have several flight schools there. So if you're already a private/commercial pilot and you're just flying in, watch out for student pilots lol. West Air Aviation offers aircraft rentals. Cessna 172's, 182RG, and a few others. VGT has several maintenance shops too. Overall, I like the airport. The VFR transitioning routes are pretty cool because they take you over Red Rock Canyon & Downtown Las Vegas. Nice Airport!

I've been to a few airports and this one is nice. I especially like the fact that you're welcomed by a mini casino and slot machines as soon as you step foot off the plane. Well played....no pun intended. There's also a charging bar on the way out, which is convenient seeing as how my phone dropped from 60% to 4% while powered off on the plane.

Great airport for general aviation, very nice and clean facility with lots of amenities (clean bathrooms, pilot planning room, etc.) Staff was very welcoming and accommodating, I would recommend flying into this airport if you have the opportunity to visit the Vegas area.

This is a much nicer airport in Vegas, it's small it's kind of the in between but it's much cleaner and much more upscale and a lot quieter, it's not the dry tumbleweed desert strip and it's not the hustle bustle casino style Airbus terminal a McCarren, you can actually sit down and take a breather for a second before walking out of the hot desert.

This is a nice facility with easy access to downtown. The staff was helpful. The lounge area was very comfortable. It's so much nicer than dealing with the larger airport - and there aren't 500 adds for Vegas shows ;-)

Have not been into this airport for some time. Late night arrival last night. Everything locked up. Waited 30min for security to let our group of 7 outside the compound, but he was nice. Back here this am for depart. Nice lobby area, good wifi, fuel price...generally everything good. Restaurant closed, they said 5 yrs ago. Sad. Was a good food stop.

For a regional private airport this place is great. It serves it's purpose well, whether you are chartering a private plane or taking one of the tours. There are helicopter services out of here as well. It's quiet, it's clean and super easy to park.

Seems like a nice enough little airport; the staff was all very friendly. Fueling up was a bit of a debacle, but the rates were much cheaper than neighboring airports, both for the fuel and the overnight parking. I will say that it's a bit of an expensive cab ride to the strip area from here; it's cost me $25-$30 each time I've gone out there.

Around six miles outside of LV. Used it with our Scenic tours http://www.yelp.com/biz/4LIcTJNbsJe5Ft2mcqPIDw?hrid=WKJmiSa8iaMAWh8hIisP6Q to fly over the Grand Canyon and spend the night at the South Rim. Small airport with two check in desks. Many of the staff speak asian languages since there are so many asian tourist going on Grand Canyon tours. The bathroom are small and clean. A small giftshop with snacks. The seating is ok, usual uncomfortable airport seating. There is a courtesy shuttle from downtown and strip but we didn't need it, the Scenic tour company provided a bus pick up for us. Cafe attached to the airport.
