Terrible service constant in and out outages and will have wifi but won’t be able to use and services complete waste of money unreliable constantly on the phone with customer service and no one can do anything to escalate the situation or fix it |

Charged me for shutting off my Internet service after the cost me 1,500 dollars of lost wages due to the soybean base coating they put on their wires that mice love to eat and being with out internet for four days! |

HOLY COW! Nice, friendly people who really, really know what they are doing. Seriously!! Quick Summary: Setup: Cyndi at Customer Service was the easiest and nicest person to connect with. All done via email: Easy/Peasy!! :) Install: Veteran pro Tech Josh arrived right on time and made the impossible, possible with expert work with safety, courtesy and friendliness. He babied our historic home with precision and brought us from low speed dish to superfast fiber plus a real phone line!! There's a reason this company has been around since the 1800's! Never have a problem. And if we do we are notified promptly of the outages and times of the fixing of those outages. I am called if there is a billing problem and our reps. Are extremely sweet. Me and my husband enjoy the personableness of this company and the care they show! |
They are more expensive than any internet I've ever had after the first year promo ($39.99/month). The regular price is then $120/month for the same 500mbps package, which is a step down from Verizon Fios where I previously lived and Spectrum - both offer $50/month or less for the 1G package. Customer service was okay until I called about canceling service due to affordability after the first year. They offered me $90/month deal, which was still nearly twice what I will pay with Spectrum. Unfortunately, after I notified them a couple months in advance that I would be canceling, the customer service was unhelpful and borderline rude. They require you to disconnect and return the equipment yourself, and I had some questions about an additional box they had installed. I'm fine with the fact that I have to disconnect and return myself, but the fact that they still charge a disconnect fee is interesting. To top it all off, my internet connection has been consistently poor since I told them I intended to cancel. I'm sure the timing of that was completely coincidental. Wishing I had gone with Spectrum from the start to avoid the switch. If you're looking for a good 12 month deal, it's not bad.
