Horrible school. Their students promote intolerance and hatred while pretending to be paragons of social justice and kindness. |

Attended Admitted Spartans Day with my daughter in late March and we fell in love with this school. We have visited approximately 20 colleges to that point and none gave us the definitive feeling that this was HER school like UNCG. What sold us immediately was the academic program presentation for nursing. We loved that we had the opportunity to meet with about a dozen faculty, staff and students who very clearly expressed their passion not only for the nursing profession but for UNCG during the Q&A and tour. The nursing school building itself is new which was also a welcome change as I have viewed quite a few nursing schools and they were very old and run down. They had state of the art facilities with numerous simulation labs and high fidelity mannequins as well as an anatomage table to practice dissection using 4D and I was excited to learn they will also be incorporating virtual reality into their program next year. Aside from the nursing school, we also enjoyed having a meal in one of the dining halls, checking out the dorms and walking around campus and meeting with other students along the way. Everyone was so lovely. Very excited for my daughter to start this fall! |

I don't care if I can take anything, but I would really go crazy without food. I walk for 10 minutes and wait in line for 5 minutes and all I get is that they are out of drumsticks. They told me they ran out. Then I get a piece of fried chicken with the skin all soft and raw inside. Then I threw away the plate of inedible garbage to get a burger which turned out to have mushy meat on the inside and black crumbs on the top and bottom of the bun and the whole thing tasted bitter in my mouth. Cups were unwashed 4 times a semester with sauce on them. Not to mention the chicken breast it was not cooked at all. We pay so much money to eat here and you give us garbage? |

UNC Greensboro is a decent school with many opportunities for students, but the administration can sometimes be unorganized and difficult to deal with. Overall, it's a good school, but there are definitely areas that need improvement. |

UNC Greensboro has a lot to offer in terms of academics, extracurricular activities, and opportunities for personal growth. The only downside is the size of the classes, which can sometimes be a bit overwhelming. |

Went for a campus tour and honors tour. The staff and guides were extremely friendly, well versed and professional. There is a lot of growth and development with the school so that's a plus. The exercise facility was incredible. I only wished there would've been more information available about the offered majors... however, we did attend on graduation day so I understood. |
University of North Carolina at Greensboro was honestly disappointing. Academically, it does not compare to schools like University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill or North Carolina State University. The classes didn’t feel very rigorous, and I wasn’t challenged the way I expected to be. It felt like the overall academic standards were lower, and there wasn’t a strong culture of pushing students to excel. The campus vibe also wasn’t great. There are stereotypes about the school lacking ambition and professionalism, and from what I saw, that reputation didn’t come out of nowhere. Dining was strange too. Having a whole “Fried Chicken Wednesday” tradition (with the Hellcats theme) being one of the big highlights just felt like the school focused more on gimmicks than actual quality. Location is a problem too because the campus is located in the HOOD of Greensboro making everyday and night feel unsafe. There were times it genuinely felt like you had to constantly watch your surroundings.
