RevLocal was purchased by Hibu in late 2024. Not sure whether RevLocal remains as a separate company. While with them the results were mediocre (increased my reviews from about 20 to above 50, but my search ranking was significantly diminished). I opted not to renew my contract beginning in January 2025, but was billed for 2 months anyway. I fought the charge with my credit card issuer, Huntington, but for reasons I won't get into here, Huntington did not reverse the charge. My review of Huntington, my bank for nearly 20 years, will come next. If you are looking for help with your search rankings or reviews, keep looking. There are better options that cost a fraction of what RevLocal charges. Or Hibu. |

After spending several thousand dollars with this company, all I got was a few 1 star reviews, my Google listing dropped in the search engine, and some pictures uploaded to the Google page. Now that I'm canceling my account they will not turn over the microsite that I PAID them to build. All I get is the domain name which is my Instagrams business name anyways. You're better off getting zappy cards for your business, upload your own images and use Google ads plus. Every dollar I gave this company would have been more effective if I flushed it down the toilet. |

Rev Local has been great to work with. They redesigned our company website and make adjustments to it as we need it. They are also actively working our survey program with our clients. Currently a 4 out of 5 because we did try a marketing strategy with them that didnt pan out to lead generation like we had hoped over a several month span. Hope to reengage in that sometime this year to see if we can get any traction with it. |

Extremely disappointed. Ongoing billing without service being provided. I’m documenting this publicly because repeated private attempts to resolve the issue have gone nowhere. After onboarding, communication dropped off completely. My assigned account manager left the company without notice. No replacement was assigned. No proactive outreach occurred. I had to initiate contact myself just to find out what happened. More importantly, the service itself has not been delivered: Hibu does not have access to my website. Hibu does not have access to my Google Business Profile. No one has requested access or performed work. No updates, optimizations, reporting, or strategy discussions have taken place. Despite this, billing continues. During this period of inactivity and lack of account management, my rankings declined. When I requested cancellation due to lack of service, the only response was a generic reference to the contract. That ignores the core issue: a contract requires performance on both sides. Billing without providing the service is not honoring the agreement. Without access to the required accounts, no campaign work, optimization, reporting, or management can occur. My assigned rep left, there was no continuity, and no one has been managing delivery. This is a material failure to perform. I am requesting a clean separation, an end to billing, and written confirmation that my accounts and listings are released. If this is resolved promptly, I am willing to update or remove this review to reflect the outcome. If not, I will continue to document this experience accurately so others can make an informed decision.
