Please visit. It is a thoroughly enjoyable, very walkable, do it in a day-able visit. Stop into the Visitor Center first for the bookstore/exhibits/tickets/gift shop/maps/ restrooms plus general orientation, or none of the above. The area can be visited with no tickets; simply walk the streets and visit the bakery and shops. You can also purchase a ticket for full access to tradesmiths (gunsmith, cabinetmaking, etc.), Boys' School, and more, to learn about Moravian history and traditions. |

It was a Sunday so I was not able to experience the full historical significance. I did like the peaceful walk studying the architecture. The plaques were helpful. The lot 63 bakery was a great surprise with the group of folks sitting around playing instruments. |

It is a very fun and beautiful old town to visit that immerse you in history. You get to experience how things were done a few hundred years ago. The staff was amazing at every building you walked into. They give you so much information about that time period as well as the history of the people that lived there. A must see if you love history. They also have fun little shops like a bakery, coffee shop and a lounge of sorts with live music. Fun fun fun! |
