Just left the administration bldg on Trade Street today is 11/21/25 & my name is James McEntyre. I am dissatisfied and very disturbed at how your company handles passengers 30 day bus passes after using them at least a minimum of 8 times daily for 30 days. The African American female receptionist who did not have a name tag on or give me her name took a picture of it and ,tries to tell me that the bus fare machines did not do that to my bus pass,even though she did admit that they were having problems with the bus passes YOUR FARE BOX MACHINES ARE DESTROYING THEM if they are not keeping them inside & not releasing them back to the customer . And what did I get for my troubles ?? A 1 DAY BUS PASS EVEN THOUGH I HAVE 7 DAYS BEFORE THE END OF THIS MONTH FOR IT TO EXPIRE. EITHER I NEED TO BE RE COMPENSATED FINANCIALLY FOR THE DAYS LEFT ON THAT BUS PASS OR I NEED THE BUS PASS UP UNDER THAT ONE WITH MULTIPLE DAYS TO MAKE UP FOR ME ONLY USING IT 25 DAYS. IT IS ONLY FAIR I am getting sick & tired of WSTA employees telling us passengers about the buses , WHEN ABOUT 85 to 90 % OF YOU DRIVE VEHICLES TO WORK, you have to be a commuter on a daily basis to experience the frustration and stress of the situations THAT ALSO GOES FOR THE BUS STOP SIGNS . I suggest that we have a mandate for those telling us where to put the bus stop signs to make it mandatory for 5 days every other month to leave their vehicles at home and ride the bus to work & back home ,go shopping while riding the bus THEN AND ONLY THEN CAN Y'ALL MAKE THE PROPER LOGICAL ADJUSTMENTS TO THE TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM. NOT JUST THE DO AS I SAY & NOT AS I DO SLOGAN. SMH

They be taking breaks knowing they have to pick up people going back inbound this isn't my first review either I going to continue to put out reviews until wsta gets better

I work everyday and I use the city bus to get back and forth to work most days. I usually buy a $10.00 pass but after today NEVER AGAIN. The bus driver said my pass got stuck🤔 and if I could wait someone would get it out and when I got back on the bus she would give it to me . I did my shopping and got back on the bus it was a different driver so I just rude back to the terminal. Went up to the window the same person who sold me the pass was there .I explained what happened and was told I had to go to another location to be reimbursed smh he also said at the end of the night the bus ticket thing is emptied so why can't I get my pass back the next day? or an even better question what happens to the bus passes that get stuck and they take them out each night ,how often does this happen? 🤔.I don't know what's going down there but we all are reaping what we sow alot quicker these days .Vengeance is Mine said the Lord.

The drivers inability to be on time most times is infuriating. Lack of updates when schedule or anything has changed and then they all have the nerve to have bad attitudes. I need yall to do better. Expeditiously. There’s no way the bus routes are changing every other week. And yall can’t update anyone. People are not on the buses for fun and then yall got the nerve to be passing people STANDING RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU SO YOU CAN SEE THEM AT 6am…. lol whew chile.

Winston Salem Transit has the worst security there! Even the operator that I talked to she act like I could not say nothing about what happened outside. Which it could have been worse. If they talking about protecting everyone then they need to do their job.

Service has improved considerably. Overhaul of website and real-time mapping is hard to believe - THANK YOU. Routes I often use have increased stops to 30 minutes- this makes errands much easier, especially during the summer months. Also appreciate the long overdue signage on buses and at station- those that only use the bus on occasion need this information and dislike having to ask an employee.

I had a minor issue with my reservation but the customer service team at WSTransit was quick to resolve it and provided excellent communication throughout. Overall, a positive experience.
