That alone speaks volumes. I didn’t even tag my mother or include unique portfolio details, yet the firm chose to publicly reference my real name in a reply, a practice that raises serious privacy concerns. But let’s shift back to the core issue: regardless of who I am, the facts remain. The team failed to properly hedge interest rate risk, delivered catastrophic losses, and has provided excuse after excuse. Many investors are in the same boat, near complete wipeout, and deserve real answers. If you’re reading this as a prospective investor: please, do your due diligence. Look at the broader pattern of reviews. It’s not one-off. It’s systemic.

Stay away from this group. Not responsive and not sending quarterly reports. 100% loss of investment after more than 6 years. Milking investors for many years with fees and at the end blaming it on COVID or interest rate environment. Incompetent team.

This group had a good run riding the tailwinds in multifamily. That gravy train ended and they are now losing their investors money on multiple deals while blaming everyone but themselves. These times show why the top PE firms are who they are and the rest get exposed. I think everyone realizes that recent acquisitions will yield a much much smaller return, but not a complete 100% loss of your investment.

Their investments and portfolio exhibited high interest rate exposure without any diversification. With the rapid increase in interest rates, they are caught pants down. The entire portfolio appears to be collapsing like a house of cards. Organizations that are struggling place a strong emphasis on operational excellence; unfortunately, many of their operating partners are just simply walking away, leaving Trinity to manage these investments without any prior hands-on operating experience. In hindsight, the entire company model appears to be a scam, based on large upfront and backend investor fees with little to no stake in the outcome for the managing partners. While the partners have profited hundreds of millions of dollars for themselves, investors have lost their savings. This calls for an investigation into them. Either they are big frauds or a bunch of incompetent fools with no financial sense. If American Greed produces an episode on them, it won't be shocking.
