Visiting Graceland was one of our stops during a road trip through Memphis before heading to Nashville. Seeing Elvis’s home and learning about his life really shows how big his legacy was while he was still alive. His story is sad in many ways, but also very inspiring. We’re not American and weren’t even born during the Elvis era, but visiting Graceland felt like experiencing a piece of history we could later share with our parents. We even watched the Elvis movie and listened to his songs on the drive, which made the visit more meaningful. When we visited, it wasn’t too crowded, and the staff strongly recommended using the headset for the tour. We’re glad we did, because there aren’t many instructions, maps, or explanations on site like you’d find in a typical museum. Using the headset really helps you understand the story and the place. Definitely worth visiting Graceland if you’re in Memphis.

A must do if you are an Elvis fan. We booked a more basic ticket which included his house, cars, outfits, planes and some more. We went in December which was a great time as there are barely any tourists around. The house is beautiful and you can take photos but no videos all around. I really loved this special experience. Nontheless it is expensive so you should really think about how interested you really are in the whole story.

I’m not a die-hard Elvis fan, but I knew that coming to Memphis I couldn’t pass up the chance to visit an absolutely iconic legend in music and pop culture. And that’s part of the problem—Graceland knows that. Charging $84 just to see the mansion and complex feels like robbery. They know they’ve got you, and then they have the audacity to tack on another $10 just to park. At a certain point it feels less like an homage to Elvis and more like padding the Presley family fortune. A tour experience shouldn’t creep up to nearly $200. That’s simply unaffordable for many people. We also got suckered into the Christmas tour with a “live guide.” The guides were nice, but they mostly repeated what you could already read on the information boards in each room. It definitely wasn’t worth the extra $16. I was also surprised by how little the tour focused on Elvis’s later years. I get not wanting to fixate on his death, but there was a noticeable lack of information about his later years. Of course, Graceland is a must-see when visiting Memphis—but they’ve taken that “must” to heart and are absolutely capitalizing on it. The experience is iconic, but the pricing and add-ons left a bad taste.

We did the Graceland Christmas Tour and really enjoyed the whole experience 🎄. We started off with lunch at Vernon’s BBQ, which was delicious—especially the mac and cheese! After eating, we spent some time exploring the shops while we waited for our tour time. Once your tour starts, you’re shuttled over to the house. The Christmas tour includes guides stationed throughout the home who share stories about the Presley family’s holiday traditions. The house itself is incredibly well preserved and truly one-of-a-kind—carpet and fabric everywhere. A fireman’s nightmare 😂 but such a fascinating time capsule. When you head back outside, you can pick up an iPad audio tour narrated by John Stamos from Full House. It walks you through the outdoor areas, including where Elvis rode horses, the pool, the racquetball/recreation building, and the Meditation Garden. The tombs and memorials are somber but beautifully maintained—a peaceful tribute to Elvis. And you absolutely must check out his vehicles and his airplane 🚗✈️. Seeing his cars, motorcycles, and the iconic Lisa Marie is such a fun part of the experience. Overall, the visit is both fun and emotional. The home is beautiful and full of charm, and although the family’s story has its sad parts, Graceland stands as a warm, respectful memorial to Elvis. A wonderful stop, especially during the holidays.

Visited for Mother’s Day Weekend 2023 I went to Graceland with my mother-in-law for Mother’s Day Weekend 2023, and the experience was absolutely worth it. This is one of those places you don’t truly understand until you’re standing in it. The home, the memorabilia, the décor, and the history all feel frozen in time, and you can see exactly how Elvis lived — not just the celebrity side, but the personal side. We toured the inside of the mansion, and every room is something different to look at. The Jungle Room, the living room, the trophy room, and the hall of gold records were unbelievable. You really feel the amount of work he put into his music and his life. The gardens were peaceful and well-kept, and visiting the meditation garden and gravesites was emotional and respectful. It’s quiet, beautiful, and a place you naturally slow down and take in. The staff kept things moving, and the grounds were clean and organized even though there were plenty of visitors. There’s a lot to see, so take your time — we took tons of photos because there’s no way to describe everything without them. If you're a lifelong Elvis fan or even just someone who appreciates American music history, Graceland is one of those bucket-list places you should see at least once. It was a memorable experience for both of us, and I’m glad we did it together for Mother’s Day. Highly recommend.

Visiting Graceland in Memphis was a day I will never forget! I’m so glad I planned ahead. I bought my tickets weeks in advance to secure an early morning entry, and it was absolutely worth it. Arriving before the big crowds made the tour feel extra peaceful and serene. It's easy to understand why Elvis cherished his time here so much. Even the horse on the property was the calmest I’ve ever seen, adding to the tranquil atmosphere. The mansion itself is incredible. Every room is unique, showcasing Elvis’s one of a kind style and personal design choices. It’s fascinating to see how much of the decor was customized to his vision. The Meditation Garden was especially moving..beautiful, quiet, and the resting place where Elvis and his family are buried together. Photos are allowed throughout most of the visit though video is not permitted. The upstairs remains closed for privacy. Beyond the mansion, the experience continues with Elvis's plane, auto exhibition, multiple restaurants, museums, and shops filled with an incredible variety of Elvis memorabilia. The merchandising is top notch, there truly is something for every fan! I especially loved the Christmas ornaments! Graceland isn’t just a tourist attraction it’s an enduring tribute. The King’s presence is everywhere, and his legend truly lives on!!

Graceland was a bucket list item for me and it did not disappoint. The mansion was beautiful and the exhibits were so well put together. The staff were all lovely and made the experience even better. Definitely worth a visit. 5 stars!
