I am writing to formally bring to your attention a deeply troubling experience my spouse and I had at your dealership on August 18, 2025. The level of disrespect and disregard we received from both our salesperson, and his sales manager was entirely unacceptable and has resulted in us questioning whether we were treated differently because of the color of our skin. We arrived with two fully verifiable credit union checks, including one in the amount of $75,000, yet both were dismissed simply because we chose not to finance through GM(for double the interest). Prior to arriving, we were assured over the phone that the check from our credit union would be accepted and that the transaction could be completed without issue. Once at the dealership, however, we were told the check would be refused and the reasoning continued to change each time we asked for clarification. Not only did my spouse have to leave without the vehicle he has worked so hard and saved for, but we also sacrificed our time leaving work early and paying for transportation based entirely on your team’s reassurance that we would be taken care of upon arrival. To be blunt, this felt like a complete slap in the face. No customer should walk away from a dealership wondering if they were denied service because of the color of their skin, and that is now a very real concern for us. At this point, we are formally requesting that this matter be escalated to upper management and that we receive a detailed explanation regarding why we were treated in this manner and why our verified credit union checks were refused. We would also like to know what corrective actions will be taken to ensure no other customers are subjected to a similar experience. We look forward to your prompt response. “ When will this world finally see us as people and not reduce us to the color of our skin? It hurt me so deeply to watch my spouse who works so hard, saved, and built his credit to go through this.”

Do not Buy From this company or any of their dealership's they will forge your signature on products after you walk away from the finance table. You will be none the wiser until its to late and your in a battle with them but it is painfully obvious that its not your signature.

Overall, my experience with Berkshire Hathaway Automotive was positive. The sales team was helpful and accommodating, and I was able to find a car that met my needs. The only downside was the lengthy wait times, but it was worth it in the end.

The customer service here is the absolute worst. I have been waiting on a call back for over a month in regards to service issues on my truck. They won’t return calls, won’t acknowledge any wrongs and not willing to make it right. Do not buy a vehicle from any dealer owned by Berkshire Hathaway. They are terrible at customer service.

RICHARDSON CDRJ on 75, customers Beware! I’ve waited over a month to hear back from this company due to a horrible experience at RICHARDSON Chrysler Dodge Ram Jeep where I was called named and disrespected like never before. Danny Easton was the person who did it along with Johnny Cantrell. Both poor excuses for sales people and most importantly a human being. Treat people better and stop pestering me!

I reached out to Berkshire as the headquarters and owner company of a dealership I was dealing with. I wrote to them and called them about awful mistreatment and mishandling from one of their dealerships. They sent my complaint to up and all that was written back to me from the secretary was to deal with the General Manager and they couldn’t do anything. I was hoping for at least an apology. There was lack of response and customer service not only from the dealership Delray Honda but even from the parent owners Berkshire. They ignored a very credible complaint. I’m saddened and feel completly disrespected at how all this got handled. I ended up buying my car with another company due to how they treat their customers and choose to not keep their dealership accountable. Clearly they don’t care about the people but rather just a sale.
