We've come to expect a high level of customer service from Stewart Title and they didn't disappoint. Very professional and knowledgeable. They made closing easy and stress-free. They went above and beyond to answer all of our questions. I highly recommend Stewart title.

I wasn't pleased with this title company. I constantly had to check with title members about funding from buyers, they lost the earnest and security deposit. I had to get an extension to give them time to find the funds. They never answered the phone, I was only able to get through to them via email which was a bit frustrating because emails were not answered in a timely manner. During closing I had to check with title for commissions disbursements, when usually other title companies are already on it and send you wiring info. However, even after requesting this, they did not comply with the wiring instructions and sent out commissions via check to an unknown address. I had to reach out to them asking where they got that address and why they mailed a check instead of wiring as I had requested. To top it off, they told my buyers that they had forgotten to include some fees in the CD and they would need to pay that to officially close on the house. I don't believe this was to be ethical on their side, if they did miscalculate, we had postponed the closing a couple of days, they should have caught that. They should have also waived any fees after closing if the mistake was done on their behalf, which it was.
