Had the most incredible date night at George Brown Polytechnic's Soul Pepper Theatre, Young Centre for the Performing Arts, to experience their rendition of the Comedy of Errors, a Shakespearean classic. The actors were incredible, big laughs, story and costumes. The cafe allowed us to have a drink and snack before the show. I can't wait to go back again in the future!

Had the best experience! Got in for free since I’m under 25, saw the coolest political musical drama, and even got to talk to the cast after about my career goals and what inspired them.

I attended a performance of The Welkin. The actors did a great job. There was an interruption due to a medical emergency - no one's fault. That did not effect my rating. What ruined the evening (and my outfit) was the fact that beverages are allowed in the theatre. Someone in the balcony spilled their drink and it ended up raining down on me through the floorboards. It was in my hair and on my clothing. It happened during the second act so there was no point going out to complain and disturbing everyone else. Luckily, the people next to us didn't return after the intermission so I was able to move but the damage was already done. I finished the evening grossed out and with sticky hair.

I had a fantastic time on a tour in this historic place at the heart of the beautiful Distillery District. Though the main area is under construction, there are still places inside that could serve as an event venue and social gathering space for up to 50 people. Highly recommended!

Cannot say enough great things about this venue and the entertainment it provides. The setting is intimate, the singers and musicians are so enormously talented and the narrator is brilliant. I love music but getting the history and interesting juicy bits in a story form makes the music that much more enjoyable! Thank you all for an amazing performance of revolutionary women in jazz!!!

Soulpepper is a gem in the Toronto theatre scene. The shows are consistently excellent and the venue is intimate and inviting. I always leave feeling inspired and eager to return. 5 stars!

Theatre: What an outstanding theatre Soul pepper is. Located in the distillery district loop, this place exudes a wonderful vibe. I enjoyed the theatre and the 🍿 movie nights here.The staff is very helpful and cordial. Parking: Sufficient parking on street level and underground available. Cafe: They have a nice reasonable cafe,open till 7.30 pm. Good to grab a quick snack and some dinner. I loved the fact that soul pepper regularly arranges yoga sessions in Aug mornings for free for health enthusiasts.
