I am really perplexed by their current rating here because this is one of the best experiences I've ever had. Having to transition to COBRA is an unsettling experience because a lot of change is occuring in your life during this time. HRPro COBRA Dept made this so easy for me. Their response rate is unbelievable. Truly. I would hear back within an hour to a few hours or the next morning if I emailed them after business hours. They are prompt, kind, thoughtful, and helpful. I cannot say enough great things about them. I wish I could give them 10 stars. Thank you again to the COBRA team of HRPro.

Consumers BEWARE. They forgot to send my COBRA election form to my previous employer's insurance plan, resulting in a significant delay that impacted my ability to refill medications and get an infusion.

I’m so stupid for signing up for this benefit card to help with medical costs that insurance doesn’t cover. What is the point if they deny everything I would use it for (copays, prescriptions)? If I would’ve known it’d be a nightmare and essentially worthless, I would’ve declined signing up. I recently left my job and I’m sure this is going to be an even bigger nightmare to cancel this card or see any money back that I put into it. If your employer offers this- decline it. It’s essentially a medical savings account that’s impossible to utilize. I can’t believe this business is running so unethically.

I am pregnant right now and need to attend apppoinents really soon. 3rd trimester. I’ve paid the correct amount for my cobra reinstatement and it’s just crickets. They tell you 7-10 business days for reinstatement, and I’m going on almost day 20 business days. No updates unless I call them and ask. I don’t understand the hold up. They said I did everything right. Also called the insurance provider and they said that all cobra admin needs to do is just call the insurance provider enrollment to reinstate me. I gave them that info today, and still heard nothing from them. I am fed up to the point that I will have no choice but to possibly get department of labor involved now bc my cobra rights are being violated.

Dealing with HR Pro over this past year of handling my family's COBRA has been a disaster. Changing premiums, then refunds, portals that don't work, but do they charge you to use it and run it as a cash advance. So you have to rely on snail mail, and there were address changes where to send it to - it takes weeks for them to acknowledge they received, no overall balance statement, and then you receive letters of termination, which may or may not be correct. Overall, the one person was helpful, but in the end, we are now retroactively terminated, and I didn't find out until 6 weeks later with no path to reinstate. I can't believe this is the core of what they do.
